Villa Valduga Opposite the church
is Villa Valduga which dates back to the beginning of the 19th century.
An artistic wrought-iron gate leads us to the small garden inside
the villa, a typical mountain residence. The external walls bear
alternate bands of plaster. The villa has a simple architectural
structure allowing only one charming particular on the tympanum.
Inside, the frescos by Pietro Pajetta (1897) show rural scenes and
discreet stucco works. Arson Our excursion towards Lasen goes by
the Castel Lusa which lies above the area where the stream Stien
meets the Caorame stream. The wooden gate recalls the medieval origin
of the castle. (In 982 the bishop Giovanni di Belluno conquered
the castle of Petra Bullada Lusia).

the original moat were found remains of the drawbridge. The building
suffered earthquake damages in 1117 and 1348. During the second
half of the 15th century, the tower was transformed into a dovecot
and an arcade was added. The different construction phases are all
recognizable (the long building and the courtyard wall were built
before the 16th-century arcade, the low round rampart was built
in 1600). In the past the Family Lusa also owned a castle in Pullìr
(Cesiomaggiore) as well as in Arsòn. After a remarkable restoration
it is currently used as a private residence.

Facino - Pasole stands out solitary in the countryside. It
was the residence of the noble medieval Family Facino (which already
owned the Castello di Arson) and is currently used as a country
house. Remarkable is the false tympanum made of stucco which frames
the noble coat of arms.
